Pamela Beatty -Hand Built Ceramics

About the artist...

The work of Pamela Beatty draws inspiration from Nature as Pamela stretches the clay to its’ limits by utilizing highly individualized advanced hand-building techniques to achieve distinctive form and textural effects. The pieces are finished  using a variety of techniques for surface treatment, including
Raku, Oxides, and High-Fired glazing.

These techniques can produce dramatic effects and colors which can be both spectacular and subtle at the same time. Each finished claywork thus transcends its own limited utilitarian design to become a work of art in its own right.

In addition to THE GALLERY AT FAIRY TALE’S END, Pamela’s work can also be seen at GALLERY ‘M’ in Greenport, Long Island as well as in several other galleries in New Jersey.
These include GREENE & GREENE in Lambertville; BEAUTIFUL THINGS in Scotch Plains, SOLARIS in Califon, and THE SHOPS AT CLINTON FALLS in Clinton.

The Gallery At Fairy Tale’s End is located in the home of Pamela and Bob Beatty, which is shared with their three collies (Sunshine, Princess & Magic),, two parrots (Angel and Sweetheart), and two cats (Boris & Natasha).

Visits to the Gallery are by special invitation or private appointment only
